Whymsical Christmas & New Years Blog Hop Day 2

Now for today's project I did another 2 page LO. The them I wanted to use is to say goodbye to this year with its good and bad, and welcome 2012 with open arms! Again for this project I used the Recollections line Jingle Bells. I used bling from Recollections also. The stickers I used on the second page were Sticko and the first page Recollections. I wanted to use the color green because it has nothing to do with golds and silvers. The color green to me means balance, peace, and self-respect. I added the pink as a contrast because it is a fun color and the stars mean the future.

For my project I did a 2 page LO featuring CHRISTMAS TIME. I used glitter stickers from Creatology for the title. All of the paper used comes from Recollections Jingle Bells. I colored 2 Magnolia stamps with Prisma colors. The lights on top of the title are Jolee's. Finally the ornaments are from the Recollections line. I like a lot of pictures in my LOs so I thought this was perfect and the blues and pinks I fell in love with. I hope you enjoy this Christmas project with a little extra color!!

For today's proyect I wanted to use a lavender color because I love purple!! The top paper is from Recollections. The bling stickers are also Recollections. I'm sorry, but for the present I didn't have those stickers in their package so I'm not sure what company they belong to. I hope you enjoy!!

For today’s proyect I decided to do again a little bit of vintage. I used cream color cardstock and distressed at the edges. The frame and the girl in the middle came in a pack from K&Company. I distressed the edges and I also distressed the picture of the little girl. Is it me or does she remind you of some older Coke advertising? Anyways I hope you enjoy and come back tomorrow!!

Para mi proyecto de hoy quise hacer poquito Tintagel otra vez. El papel es color crema con distress alrededor de lo de afuera. El marco y la foto de la niña son de K&Company. No se si soy yo nada mas pero la niña me recuerda a unos comerciales que hice Coca Cola hace unos anos. Espero que disfruten y regresen mañana!!

For today's project I wanted something bright and cheerful! My cardstock is a bright pink color. The blue snowflake paper comes from a Recollections stack at Michaels. The reindeer, snoflakes, and sentiment came from a company called The Yellow Bicycle. Finally I distressed the edges of cardstock and blue paper. Enjoy!!

For todays' card I wanted to experiment vintage style since I have never tried it before and I think it went ok. I used cream color cardstock and distressed it with some Tim Hotz. the paper is from DCWV Immortal Love. Finally the sentiment is from K&Company. I hope you enjoy, and any tips on vintage style would be really helpful!!

 Para mi tarjeta de hoy quería experimentar poquito lo Tintagel ya que nunca e hecho algo así. Utilice papel color crema y le hice distress con tinta de Tim Holtz. El papel es de DCWV Immortal Love. 2 Week Card Birthday Celebration Day 1

Helllooo ladies!!! Welcome to the 1st day of Scrappyluv’s 2 Week Card Birthday Celebration!! My birthday lands on Christmas Day so I thought it would be great to post different cards for the next 2 weeks straight! I’m sorry for the short notice of this event, but I just thought of it today and figured it was a great idea!! Let’s get started!! My first card is being entered in the first contest of Latinas en America making a Christmas project using non-traditional colors. It was so much fun because I love to use all different types of colors, especially my favorite PURPLE!!!

Mi cumpleaños caí el 25 de Diciembre y se me ocurrió hacer 2 semanas corriditas de tarjetas navideñas!Disculpen por la notificación tan corta pero asta hoy se me ocurrió esta idea y me encanto!! Vamos a empezar!! Mi primera tarjeta es para participar en el primer reto de Latinas en America! El reto es hacer un proyecto navideño pero utilizando colores no tradicionales. Me divertí mucho porque me gusta experimentar con diferentes colores especialmente mi favorito MORADO!!

My card has purple cardstock even though it looks a little blue. It has a strip of Duck ducktape Zig-Zag Zebra. I also used a Recollections Santa Claus stamp and some blue flower bling. Finally I distressed the edges. Hope you enjoy!!

Mi tarjeta tiene papel morado pero se ve un poquito azul en la foto. Tiene un pedazo de Duck ducktape Zig-Zag Zebra. Utilice una estampa de Recollections y un poco de bling azul. Finalmente hice poquito distress alrededor. Espero que les guste!!

For my project I have created a card featuring a turkey from Cricut Create a Critter. The paper is DCWV Harvest Gatherings. I thought it was a little funny that the turkey is thankful for not being cooked this Thanksgiving!!

For today's project I went a little big, at least big for me. I made my first 100% scrapbook album using the Envelope Mini Album Series from Kathy Orta. The paper I used for this whole album came from DCWV Immortal Love. I used some twilight pictures from a magazine I bought. I also used a Martha Stewart punch, but I can't remeber the name of it. I'm sorry for the video quality but I'm still experimenting with my ipad. I would love to hear your thoughts, suggestions, ideas, etc. Hope you enjoy it!!

Para mi proyecto de hoy me fui grande, por lo menos grande para mi.Hice mi primer album 100% todo hecho a mano. Utilize un tutorial que se llama Envelope Mini Album Series de Kathy Orta. El papel que utilize en todo el album es DCWV Immortal Love. Las fotos las consegui de una revista que compre. Tambien utilize un punch de Martha Stewart, pero no me acuerdo de el nombre. For today's project I made a card featuring a picture of Bella and Edward I got from a magazine. I'm sorry but I can't remember the paper line I used on this project but I thought it went well with the Twilight theme. I wanted to keep it simple to focus on the couple so I just added a couple of stickers, flowers, and bling. I hope you like it!!
Para mi proyecto hice una tarjeta con una foto de Bella y Edward de una revista. Les voy a pedir que me disculpen porke no me acuerdo de que linea es el papel que utilize pero me gusto mucho para este proyecto. Queria enfocarme mas en la foto que en la tarjecta y nada mas utilise pocos sticker, flores, y bling para decoracion. Espero que les guste!!

The inspiration for my project came from a Nightmare Before Christmas. I wanted to portray Jack's and Sally's love, but in a darker tone without pinks and reds. I used digital stamps of Jack and Salle from Simply Betty Stamps. The blue background paper as well as the gray striped paper are from DCWV Immortal Love stack. The letters for the title are DCWV Tattered Time and the purple hill came from DCWV Black Currant.

La inspiracion para mi proyecto es de la pelicula A Nightmare Before Christmas. Quise hacer ver el amor de Jack y Sally pero en tono mas oscuro sin los colores rojos y rositas. Utilize digis de Jack y Sally de Simply Betty Stamps. El papel azul y el gris son de DCWV Immortal Love. Las letras son DCWV Tattered Time y el cerro morado es DCWV Black Currant.
